The Goal

My GoalI’d do less correcting, and more connecting.
I’d take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I would care to know less and know to care more.
I’d take more hikes and fly more kites.
I’d stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I’d run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I’d do more hugging, and less tugging.
I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.
I’d build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I’d teach less about the love of power, and more about the power of love.

Our Last Night

Our last night in La Mirada we spent hanging out with my parent's, sister and brother in law. It was bitter sweet, we were excited about our new adventure but sad to leave our family.

On our last night we went to one of our favorite places to eat Thai Table, we love thai food mmmmmmmmm!!!
All of us at the table. If you look closley you can see Austin stuffing his face with rice and creating a pile of food on the floor :-)
We had a 26 ft truck that our church helped us load in under 2 hours, wow!

All packed and ready to go...only 18 hours and 1130 miles to go

Saying farewell, but not good bye because we will be back!

We had a farewell party the Saturday before the big move. We had lots of friends and family come over and we could definitely feel the love, especially Austin!
Having fun with Tante Jessie
My dad horsing around
Having a hoot of a time Paul and my sister being silly as usual
We even got a cake!
