This weekend we woke up and Paul treated us to a homemade breakfast

Our Winter Wonderland

Weather alert in Washington, Oregon and Northern California...we are being hit with snow. Usually it comes in the middle of the night and we wake up to a blanket of snow. But today it has been snowing off and on all day. Austin keep asking "mmm dat?" (What's that?)

Pregnancy Questions

When your pregnant you get asked many questions. The top three I get asked are:

1. What are you having? A boy!
2. When are you due? March 5, 2011

3. What are you naming your baby?

Well to answer the all popular #3 question...many of you know Paul and I are incessant planners. We already have planned how many kiddos we want (6) and all of them are named (first and middle names). So far we have 4 boy names and 2 girl names. The problem is that the names aren't assigned to birth order. We prefer to see the baby first and then pick from our pool of names without any outside influence besides inspiration.

This time around we know we have 3 boys names left so we decided we were going to write all 3 on seperate post-it notes and let Austin pick one of them in the hospital. This will be his first offical big brother task.

I think our #2 might need a body guard because...

Austin is quite the climber. Since he has been in his big boy room he has taking a liking to his crib too and discovered that he can not only climb out, but climb in too. It doesn't stop there...he can also climb in the pack n play, the swings and the bassinet.
Oh boy are we in for it!

Saturday Morning

Saturday morning we went for a family walk down to the park. It was a little overcast but with some pants and sweaters we were perfectly warm.

Austin loves to go to the park and climb on everything and here mommy doesn't say no no. He climbed all the way up all by himself...

with a little help from daddy at the end for safety. He was so proud of himself.

I don't know if its because I am busy chasing a toddler around or what but this pregnancy has gone by so fast. Here are a few pictures documenting my growth over the last couple of months

Moms at it again

The last time I took Austin to the barber there were a lot of tears of saddness on Austin's part. So I figured until he is ready I will cut his hair in the mean time...hey it will grow back right?

Once again at Free Friday at the Children's Museum

Every first Friday of the month we try and make our way to the Tacoma Children's Museum, it's pretty hard to pass up a free deal and Austin always has so much fun there.

Here he is at the gardening section, he picked up all the apples the kids left on the ground and was putting them back in the tree. He has become quite the organizer (not sure where he gets that one from)
Then we went to build a tower as big as we could only to knock it down!

Some of the workers helped Austin build a ramp for his ball, he was playing with this for about an hour. He loves balls!

We also did a little painting

and finished the day off by playing with more balls.

Had an ultrasound today to check the progress of this little guy. Everything is on target and his estimated weight at this point is 5 lbs. and 12 oz. and due date based on his growth is March 3rd!
