Getting ready for Halloween

Me and my little workers got busy decorating cupcakes for our ward Halloween party on Saturday. My sister was in charge of making mummy cupcakes, I think they turned out pretty good.

I have carried children in my body. I've slept with a baby on my chest. I have kissed boo boos. Mended broken hearts. Been puked and peed on. Spent sleepless night in a rocking chair. But I wouldn't have it any other way. My body isn't magazine perfect but when I look in the mirror I see a mom and there is no greater honor or blessing.

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went with some friends to Picha Pumpkin Farm. Austin liked showing us how strong he was by picking up pumpkins

We also got to sling shot pumpkins into a barrel, if we made it in we got a 15 pound pumpkin!

Anniversary dinner

Every year Paul and I trade off the pressures of the Anniversary and Valentine's dinners. This year it was Paul's turn to decide what we were doing.

He had friends of ours watch Austin while we went out. This was a real treat because this is something we rarely get to do. He took me to Impanema, a Brazilian Steak House...mmmmm
It is all you can eat and they come around with different types and cuts of meat on skewers. Paul was a happy camper.

Drum roll please.........We are having a ...........

SURPRISE!!!

Our little one was shy and our technician tried for over an hour but the baby refused to uncross it's legs and further more it's hands were over it's privates.

We are excited to be surprised and over joyed and so blessed that our baby is happy and healthy. It is such a miracle to see everything coming together and working properly. I can't wait to meet this little person.

A lot has happened in 3 years!

It all began 3 years ago, the best decision of our life. Its been a great 3 years starting with

Our Wedding Oct. 5, 2007 at the San Diego Temple

an amazing honeymoon in Tahiti!!! Making several moves into our newlywed apartment and then after a generous offer from Dan and Debbie we moved into a house in La Mirada. We were sad to leave our friends in HB but happy to have a place to start our family and make new friends.

We had so many wonderful memories at this house, the first being the birth of our first son Austin - March 18, 2009

Then we were faced with some tough choices. One was were was Paul going to continue his career, where were we going to buy a house. Well we came to the conclusion after much prayer and thought that Heavenly Father wanted us in Washington, so we moved.

and after the loss of our second baby 10/2009 we got news that we were pregnant again!!! Baby #2 due to make its debut March 2010!!!

3 years of ups and downs

3 years of much laughter and some tears

3 years of us growing closer as a family and leaning on one another

3 years to know making the choice to make this marriage eternal was the best decision we have ever made!

At Point Defiance Park they not only have a zoo, but a ton of trails. We explored one of them, a 5 mile loop! enjoying our surroundings
