CA Trip Day 6

DISNEYLAND!!!

 Austin's first ride of choice was going on a spaceship with Oma. He was super excited!!!

 Then we were off to defeat the Evil Emperor ZURG!!! Austin's favorite Toy Story Character.

 Then we were off to Austin's driving lessons. If you can't tell its hot out by the beads of sweat running down his face it was about 95 degrees!!!

 Time to cool off with some ice cream!

 Andrew took a little nap while Oma got to cool off and rest a bit.

 And then this little guy knocked out

 Soon this momma remembered she was 7 months pregnant, in 95 degree weather and getting light headed and I had to throw in the towel and we went home at 4pm

 So what did we do, we can home and cooled off! It was so nice having a pool!!!

CA Trip day 5

After a action packed day yesterday we, again, relaxed and swam in the pool. We also wanted to spend time with daddy since he would be flying back home to Washington in the afternoon.

 My long time friend RaShell and her cutie boy Landen stopped by for a chat and a dip. It was so nice to see them.

 Andrew pooped from our action packed days.

 After naps my mom and I took the kiddos to a near by park 

 Afterwards Opa was energized again and rough housed with the boys, they had so much fun!

  

We've got t rest up because tomorrow we are going to DISNEYLAND!!!

CA Trip Day 4

From the moment he saw my mom Austin asked for 2 things: 1. to play in the sink 2. for Oma to make her famous macaroni's. Well this day this boys dreams came true!

 Mean while Opa and Andrew we heavily involved in playing cars on the floor.

 Then some after lunch swimming of course!

 Opa wanted to float just like Austin. Opa is so silly!

 After the kiddos woke up from their naps my sister took the kids and I to California Adventure for some fun in the new Cars Land.

 Austin had so much fun seeing all of his old friends like Towmater, Red and Lighting McQueen!

 My kiddos are usually in bed by 8:30/9 but since they were wired and so excited to be at CA Adventure that we partied until 11! Then this little guy fell fast asleep :-)



Ca Trip Day 3

Friday we hopped over to Froggs Bounce house for some bouncing fun!

 

 Afterwards we cooled off in the pool as usual. It sure is nice to have a pool when ever you need it on hot days!

 After naps we were headed to In and Out for some yummy burgers, fries and milk shakes!

 Then we piled into the car and headed to Central Park to play and frolic.



Ca Trip Day 2

We woke up to wonderful weather, picked up some lunch at my favorite sandwich shop (Togo's) and headed to Huntington Beach for some fun in the sun.

 Austin loved digging with daddy for sandcrabs!

 Andrew liked playing with the water in his bucket (a more controlled enviroment then the ocean and more to his liking) and licking his salty skin.

 Austin sure does love his Oma, they loved standing in the surf.

 After the beach and putting Andrew down for a much needed nap, we went swimming!

 After all of that activity we went to our favorite mexican place, Done Jose! So yummy!!!

Day 2 was a busy but fun filled day!

Ca Trip Day 1

For our family vacation we usually take the kids back home (to Southern California) to soak up some sun and visit family and friends. These two were so excited to get on the plane.

 They loved looking out the window and once we took off they were "mostly" perfect angels.

 When we landed Oma and Opa picked us up and our 2 suitcases, 2 car seats, stroller, pack and play and the 4 of us. Yup, when you travel with little people you don't travel light. We let the kids settle down while my dad and Paul got us some Tommy's (one of the many places we will visit to eat :-)
