Mischief Managed

Austin is 10 months old which means he can crawl, grab and other words he is on the move and getting into everything (and we are loving it minus the rice incident)
Austin loves to stand and play with his activity table and yes that is my headband
He loves to explore in the kitchen. Its probably one of his favorite places other than the bathroom. He loves to bang on all the pots and pans as well as taking out EVERY cookie sheet I own!
He also was playing behind me the other day while I was doing the dishes and got into my rice container. He is such a silly little boy.

Again loving the kitchen. Different day but same story. If you look at my craft table behind Austin I am sure you know why its empty!
I can't believe how much he is growing. Everyday is different and everyday is an adventure. I am so blessed to have a husband who works so hard so that I can be home with my little man because I wouldn't miss any of this for the world!

I love Disneyland and I love my Oma and now they are in the same place...this is crazy

My mom and Paul met us at Disneyland yesterday. It was so nice to go during the week because you don't have to wait in any of the lines. My mom also gave Paul and I an opportunity to go on a BIG kids ride, something we haven't done in years. What a great night. Thanks mom!

My name is Austin and I have 8 teeth!

and I like to bite anything I can get my mouth on so watch out!

A Magical Place

Disneyland I love Christmas time at Disneyland. Walking down Main Street and listening to the Carolers sing, looking at the beautiful decorations, everyone has a smile on their face and everyone is truly happy.

Is it a flower? or Pen?...it's both!!!

Ever lose you pen at work or someone "accidentally" walks off with it? My sister is busy making unique pens that will not only make your desk look nice but it will be obvious if that person 2 cubicles down stole your pen. Visit my sister's website:

Presents, presents and more presents!

The night before Christmas Austin and Paul we too excited to sleep...Santa would be coming soon!
Our Christmas tree...smells sooooo good Christmas morning getting treats out of our stockings
Paul got Peanut M&M's
I got an Orange Fanta
Later on that day my parent's, sister and my brother in law came over for dinner and gifts. Austin loves to rip the paper. and if you look closely he is unwrapping baby wipes...he also got diapers for a gift from us too.
His Oma, Opa and Aunt Jessica got him the book The Night Before Christmas. But this is no ordinary book they were able to record their voices so that no matter where Austin is in the world he can always hear his Oma, Opa and Aunt Jes read him a bedtime story.
He also got this sweet ride that he went crazy for. He loves this car.
Hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas surrounded with family and friends. But through all of the busyness of the season let's not forget the real reason why we are celebrating Christmas, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"

Christmas Morning

Orange Hill Restaurant
Since we have been married we go to The Orange Hill Restaurant for Christmas brunch. This restaurant is on top of one of the foothills in Orange and has an amazing food. The only other thing that Paul loves more then the view is the incredible food.
All Paul could talk about for the last few months was the crab legs and he finally was able to have them and in abundance I might say :-)
Austin had a great time too. He had some yogurt, played with straws and...
got to drink out of daddy's cup. Notice the death grip Austin has on the glass.
Enjoying the beautiful view and Austin's first Christmas

Toys, Toys that make noise and Toys that are big!!!

Christmas at the Johnson's
Earlier that night Dan was bragging how he wrapped one of Debbie's gifts himself and to his credit he did a pretty good job...until Austin fell on it!
Austin was so excited about the colorful gifts he didn't realize that the real gift was inside
Enjoying his new toy
Trying to trick his grandma so he could get his hands on all the goodies on the table
We had a really good night that night. We had yummy food but it was especially great because we got to spend it with Dan and Debbie. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Big day out with Oma

No better time to celebrate the Holiday season then at Disneyland, and no better person to spend it with then Grandma! Waiting for the parade to start, he was such a good little boy waiting as patiently as he could
Austin sure does love his Oma

It was a great day! and what made it better is that we found out that we could do it again because my mom bought an annual pass!

Paul looks forward to this time of year, not only is it the Christmas season but its also time for the car show!
Our yearly picture with the VW bug (we take on every year with the same pose)
This is what i would like for Christmas (Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible)
Austin was enjoying the ultra plush carpet and crawling every where
Paul's friend Patrick came with us and he is even bigger than Paul and we crammed them into a smart car.
This one is on Paul's wish list. Do you think it will be ok with I get him the Hot Wheels version?

Christmas Lights!

Family Night
Paul, Austin and I joined Opa and Oma to the FV lights.
This is a picture of us on our way there (Opa and Austin have matching hats)
One of the many houses with lots of decortions! My dad kept asking "where do they store all of this stuff?"
Standing infront of my friend Bev's house looking at all of the letters to Santa.

What a great outing, but Roxy (the dog) was tired and she got to go in the stroller too.

A little sampling of everything
Austin and his Aunt Jessica
It's always nice to get together with family
I love this time of year because it helps my reflect on the things that I am truly grateful for. I am so thankful for a wonderful and supportive husband and a wonderfully active baby boy. We have been so blessed this year with family and friends.
