River Walk Trail

Saturday was such a nice day that we thought we would explore some of the trails. We found one just along the riverbed. There were many people fishing, but I am not sure if they caught anything

Austin's New Toy!!!

A rare occastion

For those of you who know Austin, know that he moves all day. Never sits, is always playing, climbing and moving. Yesterday that all changed. I was showing Paul a part in a movie that reminded me of him. So we turned on the t.v. and Austin got on the ground and relaxed for 10 minutes!!! It was so weird, we weren't even sure if he was awake or not :-)

What baby wants, baby gets

Since I am pregnant for most it means, its time to eat! For me its about finding something that won't make me sick. I have had a few cravings here and there...peanut butter, ice cream but the one I couldn't get out of my head of the Japanese Steak House. So we went... Austin was amazed the whole time

and I loved the food, even finished the whole plate which is rare because I haven't had a full lunch or dinner in 4 months. So Japanese steak house it is!

When daddy comes home...

Austin loves to climbon everything, you can also see the Cheerios on his butt from his previous climbing expereince on the table just minutes ago

He is so courious and loves to get into everything. My house has never been more disorganized and messy and we are loving every minute of it!

But it wasn't all fun and games

My parent's also came over to help us with a "few" things around the house.

My dad single handily installed our garage door opener and it works like a dream

Paul busily painted the ceilings white (that's right they were beige) and the trim white as well
My mom painted the room. This will be Austin's new big boy room

They also:

* installed 3 fans with his trusty helper Paul

* Fixed some electric problems

* added and checked all of our smoke alarms

We are very grateful for all of there help and I am sure they are at their home in California resting from all of their hard work here.

When grandpa and grandma come it's always fun!

Opa and Oma came to visit Austin and it was a lot of fun. They did so many things together and here a few pictures to show some of their adventures.

Bought him some very cool clothes, daddy was very happy!

and they also fed the ducks, although Austin mostly chased them and tried to get into the water
