Austin's Big Day Out
March 27 our good friends Tasha and Maurice got married. Paul went to their wedding at the San Diego LDS temple on Friday and Austin and I tagged along the next day to the ring ceremony. The ring ceremony was at Laguna Beach. Mommy and daddy were so excited to bring Austin to the beach for the first time. Although Austin was asleep most of the time everyone was so excited to see him.

Home Sweet Home
If you have ever had a baby I am sure this thought has gone through your head: "So we can leave now and take the baby home... it seems so much more difficult to buy a car and take it home than your own child" just a thought that crossed my mind.

Love at first sight
The past few days have been...how can I even describe this? Some moments so tender and sacred they are for my journal and my husband only. Some moments so frustrating and scary and overwhelming it seems like every day is an eternity. One week ago today, it all began. I'm just trying to take in a day at a time.

Already a Father
Our son's room is decorated in animals. One day my sweet husband said that he wanted to buy a FEW stuffed animals for his room. So we went to Toys R Us and he grabbed as many stuffed animals as he could. He was so excited when he was picking out which animals and sorting out which ones would be good enough for the room. He picked out a few lined them up on the ground and would walk by now and then to see if they all fit together. After they all met his approval he grabbed the bear, hippo, frog, pig, giraffe, snake, penguin, panda bear, monkey, and cheetah into his arms and brought them to the register.
It was so neat for me to see him so excited to buy all of these things for his son. He is so excited to become a father. I know this life doesn't come without its challenges but one thing that I don't have to worry about is what type of father Paul will be. I am so happy that our family of two is growing to three. What a wonderful blessing we have been given.

Waiting...
The clothes have been washed, his sheets changed, the rocking chair put together, bags are packed and in the car...they are all waiting for the arrival of our son. I thought that this pregnancy has gone pretty fast, but time has seemed to stop. Now that everything is ready, all we have to do is wait... I guess I can't blame him, he is in a temperature controlled environment where he can eat and sleep whenever he wants ( I wouldn't want to leave either). Or maybe this is Heavenly Fathers way of letting us know we aren't in control anymore, its not our lives anymore. We are so excited to welcome our little one, but all we are left with is time, time to wait.

Our Wedding Day
After getting to know one another we decided to get married! Paul proposed on my birthday, April 20, 2007. What a wonderful day, finding out that I get to be with my best friend forever.
5 months later we got married at the LDS San Degio Temple to be married for "Time and All Eternity". We were joined by friends and family to celebrate this wonderful occassion.
Introduction
Many of you know Paul and I, but few of you know how we got together. Paul and I became friends through mutual friends at church. Our friends had suggested to Paul that he should consider dating me, he dismissed the thought thinking that I was too short to date (Paul is 6' 4"/ Marsha 4' 11"). We became good friends. In fact, we became such good friends that I started to set him up on dates with other girls that I knew. Well none of the them worked out and one day it just hit us, we were meant to be. :-)
